Unfortunately I had already made the cake portion before I got to the icing and I wasn't sure, so I just put in two teaspoons of each (vanilla and orange extract) into the icing. It actually wasn't too much and the cake was delicious. Thanks for posting. When a recipe, calls for an ingredient and then says 'divided' it means you will be adding it in two different portions of the recipe.
